I went back and forth before I finally decided to add this to my baby registry. I received it as a gift and I’m so glad that I registered for it. True, the velcro isn’t too strong, which makes it slip if alot of heavy items are placed on it. However, I used the strategy that another reviewer used and tied it to the crib with some pretty ribbon and it works wonderfully. I have powder, lotion, baby oil, vaseline, some shoes, as well as a package of diapers and a few more items stored in it and it is holding up fine. I think this organizer can be a very useful and convenient way to keep the much needed items close at hand, especially if you are lacking storage space. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone and I’m so glad that I did finally register for it. The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is because I did have to make an adjustment, being using the ribbons instead of the velcro that it came with. Otherwise, I have no other complaints.

We recieved this after I registered for it and were initially happy to have it. I hung it on the side of our changing table and organized it before our little girl arrived so everything was ready. The lower part for diapers is fine, the little pouches up top are fine and I never had a problem with the velcro not holding. It’s the center “shelf” part that dosen’t work for us. It needs to be stiffer as ours droops. This makes it hard to hold the box of wipes and refill pack that I was using that space for (like the product picture). They both kept sliding off and eventually I just left that space empty because nothing would stay put. It’s been alittle disappointing and am registering for a different type for our second child that we are now expecting. And as a side note, it’s frustrating that everything is so accessable when your kids get old enough to grab the stuff on top and play with it and try to eat them (lotions, ointments, etc.). Not to mention finding diapers all over the room during playtime when they’re even older.

I love these wipes! They aren’t too thick and the odor is nice and gently. Some of the other wipes had a strong odor, but this wipe is great. I also love that it came with another container! If I don’t need it to replace the wipes, I use my extra containers for crayons, markers, match box cars, and legos!

These are, in my opinion, the best baby wipes you can get. Pampers’ classic wipes are fantastic (their thick ones are AWFUL, though), we’ve been using them for years. Personally, the babyfresh scent is my favorite. Unscented are great too, but I really love these. Thank you, Pampers!

This grooming kit is easy to travel with, and convenient since everything is kept is kept in the clear hard plastic case. The nail clippers, emery boards, and hair brush work really well. The nasal aspirator is decent, but the one we received free from the hospital works better. The thermometer is really cheap and never worked, but that didn’t bother me much since we already had a different ear thermometerBraun IRT 4020 ThermoScan Ear Thermometer. We haven’t used the medicine spoon, dropper, or swabs but I’m glad we have them on hand and accessible. This kit is less expensive than other kits, and overall I’ve been happy with it.

The nasal bulb is very hard to use. Only pieces I use most often is the nail cutter & comb, sometimes. Don’t see much use of other pieces much, even if the kid is small.

I spend a lot of time looking at and comparing products before I buy one–especially when it comes to baby/toddler safety products. I looked at almost all the other bed rails before purchasing this one, and I’m thrilled with it.

First of all, it’s very easy to assemble and install. It took my husband about 5 to 10 minutes to put everything together. He said it was easy. The system used for making sure the bed rail doesn’t push out from the side of the bed is a very simple strap system that installs quickly, even with our new heavy, super-plush twin beds. Once installed, the bed rail doesn’t budge an inch. Also, the mechanism for folding the bedrail down (completely down!) when you want to make a bed is very easy…just slip the lock to the side, and then use a hand on each side of the bedrail to lift and fold–easy for adults, but not at all obvious for kids. When you’re done making the bed, just fold the rail back up and it clicks itself into place.

Second, it looks great. It’s clean, crisp white–not some of the other glaring colors I’ve seen in other bed rails. It’s very tall (perfect for the thick mattresses sold these days), and very long. We keep it in the upright position once the bed is made, but it’s simple enough to fold that you could keep it folded down and more out of sight when the bed is made.

Third (and maybe this should have been second , it’s safe. Very safe. We’re using it with our two five-year olds, and the height of it is perfect for them. I don’t think they could roll or push themselves out of bed if they tried. The frame is very sturdy. It comes with a bar that goes through the middle of the mesh (covered and padded, of course). It’s removeable if you want (or if your bed is too thick), but we keep it in because it seems to add even more sturdiness and strength.

I couldn’t be happier with this product. All of the others I looked at seemed to be either a mess to install, or they didn’t fold down, or they looked awful. This one was great on all three counts!

I bought two of these for my three year old, who we were transitioning from her crib to her “big girl” bed. We got one for each side of the bed. They were easy to assemble, looked nice (for bed rails), and were easy to fold down. The only issue for us in assembly and general operation is that they are so tall in height that when we fold them down they do not lie flat against the side of the bed because the height of the rail is taller than the space from the floor to the hinge on the rail.

When we assembled the products, there was an additional metal bar included (you can see it in the picture of the product at the height of the mattress top), which the instructions clearly state is not to be used unless you have an unusally tall mattress. Otherwise, you are told to omit the bar. We do not have an unusually tall mattress (the instructions gave a specific height and we missed it by several inches) so we omitted the bar.

Last night was my daughter’s first night sleeping in her bed and all went well. Tonight, however, I heard the frightening thunk of my daughter hitting the hardwood, followed immediately by her cries. It appears she slipped between the upper bar and without the additional bar the mesh was inadequate to hold her on the bed.

Thankfully, she seems fine. I located the metal bars that were supposedly only for the tall mattresses and inserted them immediately because I do not think there would be a way for her to slip out with those installed. Please beware when assembling this product to consider including these rails even if you do not have a tall mattress.

I love this gadget. Compact, all-in-one, easy to use, FOOL PROOF, and … gives me the CONFIDENCE to make my baby’s food.

I’ve read tons of web reviews and blogs about this product, and detractors seem to miss/misunderstand my ‘category’ of mom. I cook when I can. I bake when I get the chance but… mostly, I dont have the time or confidence to pull it off anything ‘new’… AND clean up multiple utensils!

So many blogs out there chastise the Beaba buyers for wasting money–telling us to buy cheap steamer inserts and dust off our blenders, food processors and food mills… For my first baby, I listened to these moms (and the Beaba wasnt in the USA yet). I bought the food mill; I pulled out the steamer insert… and.. I froze. My baby ate NOTHING BUT JARRED (organic) FOOD! till she could chew the foods in my comfort zone. Baby food, all the prep and the coordination of all these tools was all so daunting. I was terrified I’d get it wrong… or couldnt keep sterile enough… or would get lost in all the piles of things I’d have to clean after each prep!!

THEN THE BEABA! Little to clean, nothing to get wrong, no digging through drawers and juggling appliances in my limited space! I LOVE IT! Call me a slacker mom! But dont call me frivolous with money!! Organic Baby food is .10 a jar and my baby would go through 4-6 a day. I’ve had my Beaba for 6 weeks, and it’s already paid for itself.

BTW, you can adjust the consistency to your baby’s taste as he grows. I figure soon I’ll just be using it to steam, not blend. And… I doubt it will be a permanent fixture in my kitchen! But … its paid for itself! Carrots smell like carrots!!! and … its given me a confidence that I hope extends to other culinary projects! Slacker moms, buy it.

PS Careful if you’re reading those blogs re: Beaba and BPA. Read ALL the blogs. The most uptodate will lead you to the latest info promising this product IS BPA free. There are blogs that appear current but have not updated this info.

I live in a small apartment and don’t have room for lots of gadgets (not even a microwave). I find this appliance to be worth the counter space. I like that you can steam and puree in one appliance, and that I don’t have to lug out the steamer and blender to whip up some food.

Some reviewers say your baby will outgrow this machine’s usefulness in a few months but I disagree. My baby eats mostly finger foods but still I use the Beaba a lot. I use it to reheat leftovers (again, we have no microwave) and also use it to chop or puree adult dinners that are two hard for baby to eat.

It’s not a huge capacity but that doesn’t bother me. After spending whole weekends steaming, blending and freezing veggies, just to discover that my kid’s taste buds changed and what he once loved he now refuses, I’m over large scale baby food production.

One safety note! There is a little hole that the lid clicks into. That hole leads to the water chamber and I once accidentally tipped the machine over and scalding hot water came out of the hole and landed on my hand. I got a nasty burn. Definitely keep this machine well away from the edge of counters!

We like the size of this blanket because we can tuck it under the edges of the co-sleeper mattress when we use it over our baby (we try to avoid blankets, using sleep sacks instead, but for daytime naps when he’s already asleep, it’s good to have a blanket we can put on just up to his chest and secure under the mattress edges). Several of his other blankets weren’t quite wide enough. The bear in the corner shrunk a little when it was washed (even though it was washed according to label directions), so now it’s wrinkled instead of flat. It is very thin, stretchy, and very soft. Also made in China, in case that matters to you.

I’m so surprised that someone thought this blanket was rough. How is that possible? The fabric is super soft – almost buttery! I love how it’s stretchy and drapes so well. It just hangs down and stays where you put it. The sewn on teddy bear is not scratchy at all. The blanket is on the small side, a good size for swaddling a newborn. Now that my little one is older, I keep it in the diaper bag as an all purpose blanket, cover, etc. Because the fabric is so stretchy and drapes so well, it stays compact in the diaper bag. Highly recommended (unless you don’t buy items from China).

Not only its organic, it is plainly superior in design, construction, and durability. I will not get any other kinds of pads. This is the one to get and certainly worth the investment.

I love this organic quilted pad. It’s so soft and fits really well on my organic cotton mattress. My daughter likes to sleep on my bed so this pad makes her crib feel softer (closer to what my bed feels). I like that it has just the right amount of padding, not too thick that I have to worry when my daughter rolls over and sleeps on her tummy.

I purchased this item at my local baby mega-store when they had just put them out on the sales floor, on a whim. I had just begun feeding my 4 month old baby at the time and was frustrated with how messy it was. The design of this product is brilliant, and what I realized after its first use is that the reason traditional spoons are so messy for feeding a baby is because the underside of a spoon gets as much food on it as the “bowl” side of the spoon, and a baby does not know to use their bottom lip to swipe that food so that it stays in their mouth. With this spoon/device, the orange part is flexible silicone that holds more than 3 fluid ounces of baby food. The clear top screws on once you fill the “handle” with the puree food. At the tip of the clear part is a small well shaped baby spoon that has a hole leading to the inside of the “handle”. When you invert the spoon, the food settles down to the clear part of the handle, and with a little squeeze by the adult, the perfect amount of food comes out into the “bowl” of the spoon. NO FOOD ON THE BOTTOM OF THE SPOON!!! It has been almost 2 months now, and feeding time is a joy at my home for adults as well as our baby. He honestly eats better because of the easy delivery. Also, since you don’t keep dipping a contaminated spoon back into a baby jar, whatever food does not get eaten during feeding time can easily be transferred to a storage container and used at the next feeding. I purchased another one of these spoons so that I can feed an entree and a side item at each feeding. Brilliant Product!!!

This is a fabulous spoon! Basically you stick the baby food in the spoon put the top on and go. So whether you’re at the park the mall or a restaurant you just whip it out and you’re ready to feed your little one!

For those that make your own food its super easy – just take it from what you have made and toss it in there. But if you are using store bought stuff you have to scoop it into the container (which can be a little bit of an extra step but really well worth it). I found that stage one and two foods come out of this quite easily. While it says it only holds 3 oz of food I’ve gotten 4oz jars of baby food into it.

The hole is small so stage three foods are a little tougher but they still come out. Homemade stuff comes out if you puree it enough (not big chunks) and homemade yogurt (or the store bought stuff too!) comes out fantastic.

Its so easy to keep your little one clean while out and about. Keeping the spoon itself clean is easy because the spoon head has a cap. And clean up after is fantastic just rinse it with hot water and all the food comes out!! I’ve never had to dig into it like I thought I would…

I can’t say enough great things about this. Its made life easier when we’re out and about and its so darn adorable. It comes in pink & orange. Its easy to prepare use and clean…you cannot go wrong with this purchase!
