I expected this costume to be like the Power Ranger and Spiderman Muscle costumes that I purchased in previous years. It is not. This costume’s muscles are made out of cardboard (power ranger and spiderman is stuffing), and was very uncomfortable. On Halloween when we put it on my son, we ended up having to cut some of the neck out because it was so uncomfortable.

We are very happy with this costume, my son loved it and he looked great with the muscles, he used his own shoes under and the fabric of the boots have an elastic to go under the soles so the boot doesn’t go up.The quality is good and the colors are good.

When we got this my son would not take it off. It is a thin, stretchy, not breathable, fabric so decent for nice weather but not the cold or heat.

It is made like a typical cheap store made costume. Large opening in the back so need to wear a shirt under it. The elastic snapped in the left foot on the first day. Strings hanging all over. Pretty much what I expected. Only thing that I did not expect was the back of the belt to be all sticky. I understand that it helps hold it in place. I did not expect the sticky substance to transfer all over the place.

I was hesitant to order this online bc I couldn’t see it, but after reading the measurements (39″ tall & 22″ waist) and that it fits 2-4 yrs old, and after looking at the product picture and a reviewers picture, I decided it would be a safe bet. When I pulled it out of the box, I could not believe how small it was. I double checked the tag and it’s confusing bc it says “2-4T” but underneath it says “for ages 1-2″. It was ordered for my daughter’s 3rd birthday party for her wizard of oz theme, it thankfully JUST fits but is extremely short. She is about 37 – 38 inches so there is no way it would fit up to a 39″ girl. The quality is ok and she loves it, but the sizing is confusing. I don’t know if I would’ve been better ordering the next size up, but the girl in the picture for that looks much older than my daughter.

My Daughter loved this costume. It is really adorable. She would wear it everyday if we let her. I actually had to hide it from her. The only complaint is that the crinoline slip is very itchy and gets snagged on the velcro closure in the back and the velcro closures should have been a zipper or buttons – it also scratched the back of my daughter’s neck since the collar sits so high. They should have also not put sequins in the inside part of the collar – very scratchy for soft two year old necks. But overall, a great buy. Fast delivery from Ruby’s Costumes/Amazon as well – I think I got it the next day, even with free super saver shipping! The little sparkly ribbons it came with were a nice touch also. My daugher absolutely loved being Dorothy this year for Halloween.

My 3 yo son completely freaked out when he saw this costume. We bought it on August 18 after one month of him begging us to get a Spider-man costume. It was so much fun. He was trying to climb the walls in the living room. The costume has “muscles” which is completely hysterical! TOO FUNNY!!! We could barely get it off of him to take a bath. This coupled with a pair of [...] Spider-man gloves to match are the bees knees. Unbelievable fun for a 3 year old!!! And for us, also!!! Get out your video camera for this one, folks!

I was not happy when I received this costume. It was not at all like the picture. I wanted it because the head piece was 1 piece. When I received it in the mail, it was so ugly it was not the same one that was in the picture. The one I received had a head cap and a mask that was too tight to my 3 year olds head it hurt his eyes. But I couldnt send it back because my 3 year old seen it and was so excited about Spiderman, he wanted to put it on and didnt want to take. So I had to keep it. Later at Target I found that real one in the picture for .99.

This costume was intended for my 2 year old son for Halloween. The hat was way too small and the pants were way too long. The shirt had elastic in the mid torso and was not acceptable to my little guy. He disliked the outfit and would not keep it on more than 5 minutes. We returned it…very disappointing because our family was dressing up in a peter pan theme…daughter was tinker bell, we were pirates, and my son ended up being darth vader….oh, well. order this item with caution.

Costume is very well made and will last through many days of playing “Scooby Dooby Doo”. Size is close to childrens clothing, might want to go one size up if child fits into clothing perfectly. Would definately purchase other costumes from this maker/seller again.

This costume was decent for the price, soft thin fleece that was pretty easy to put on. However, our 6 week old, 10lbs 22inch baby was almost too big for it, not sure how it could fit a 9 month old.

The bunting section of the costume was very cute, but the hat was too small for my two-month-old even though the size suggests the costume should fit until six months. Just a warning to other parents of big-noggined babies.
