We have a 9 month old, who weighs 22 pounds. I was trying to find a highchair for when we travel to grandmas, or on vacation and had been researching the evenflo collapsable highchair. I ran onto this highchair by accident. I can’t believe how small and flat this highchair folds. Since purchasing it a month ago I have probably used it 5 different times. We love it. It is so convienent to have a highchair in the back of our SUV ready to use. I have used it at an ice cream store which didn’t have highchairs, my 8 year olds Valentine party, Grandmas house, and a friends house. It has a full size tray, and keeps my nine month old so content. A few cheerios on the tray, and he is happy. It also has the middle bar between the babys legs to keep baby from slipping. This has been 30 dollars well spent.

First, let me point out: There are some other Cosco “Flat Fold” high chairs that are 2x or 3x the price. They are the SAME in every respect, except for color. Don’t spend the extra money unless you absolutely need a different color.

    Now, on to the review…

    Pros:

    -Pre-assembled, easy to set up.

    -Folds up, portable, light weight.

-If you take out the foot rest, it folds flat.

    -Wipes clean easy.

-Tray has cup holder which doubles as a built-in bowl for snacks.

-We tried ALL the chairs at Target & Babys R Us, and this was our favorite in terms of space saving & portability … and to our surprise it was the least expensive too! (We paid $30)

    CONS:

-Seat back is not adjustable, is too reclined for young children.

-Tray has 3 positions, but still is not close enough for young children.

-It requires both hands to collapse the chair (you can’t do it with a child in your arms)

-Biggest problem: Tray release tabs break easily (broke 2nd time we used it!)

(The fix — If the release tabs on the tray pop off, they can be re-assembled without tools: Line up the pin & spring, and snap it back in. The design flaw is that the plastic tabs holding the release triggers in place are not big enough or strong enough. If it becomes a persistent problem, drill a hole through the middle of the plastic tabs and insert a metal rod, a pin, or a screw …just make sure it’s smooth on the end and can’t scratch your child)

Pros – This is a fantastic value. We use this highchair every day – it is compact, small and very sturdy. You won’t find any other highchair, for this price, that works as well.

Cons – The cover does not remove – you need to wipe it down well after every use. The tray will go in the dishwasher, but water seems to drain from it for a while after you take it out. Best to wipe it down and use the dishwasher sporadically.

If you are looking for a light, portable, easy-to-fold high chair, then this may be for you. I liked it so much I got one for each of Baby’s grandparents.

The only thing I would say against it is that the back is angled back a bit and is not adjustable. Smaller and younger babies (like mine) probably need a towel or blanket put behind them for padding and so they can sit up straight.

The High chair is great and affordable but the one flaw is that the chair does not sit up right therefor the baby will always sit reclined unless they lean forward to sit up straight!

Being a first time mom, we’d been using standard terry cloth type bibs even during solid food feedings. We were accumulating stained bibs despite our best efforts to stain-treat them when I remarked to my husband it’d sure be nice if they made waterproof ones we could just rinse off and reuse. Voila! Not only are the Bumkins Waterproof SuperBibs waterproof and machine washable, they are still soft against baby’s skin unlike some of the thicker plastic/rubber bibs out there. They are also generously sized so they will fit our little one’s neck as she (rapidly) grows, whereas some of her original terry cloth bibs are already too tight.

The price is a little high for just 3 bibs but they clean up so quickly and easily you may get by with far fewer than traditional cloth bibs. You literally can rinse off the soiled bib under the tap in your kitchen sink, scrunch it up to wring out any water, lay it out and it’ll be dry in an hour or less. And they hold up great in a washer and dryer (we wash them along with the rest of our little one’s clothing, gentle cycle, and you don’t really need to put them in the dryer.)

Excellent Bibs. They cover a large area, the velcro lasts forever (unlike others we’ve used), the pouch at the bottom is great, and saves many a spill.

We love these bibs. They wash up easily and fold up really small for easy packing. They’re soft, light, and totally water proof.

The fabric is thin, but waterproof and durable. It easily replaces Pampers disposable bibs for us. When we use it in a restaurant, I just take it to the bathroom afterwards and wash it with warm water and soap. Then I strap it onto the strap of my diaperbag and it’s dry by the time we get home! Or, if the bathroom has an air dryer, it’s mostly dry with just one cycle. I fold it in quarters and put it back in the diaper bag – it takes up no room at all.

The pocket was well-designed and stays open, not like the cheap bibs where the width of the pocket equals the width of the bib, and thus is flush against the bib and catches nothing.

The velcro is high quality and I can see it lasting a long time. Having a little girl with long hair, I greatly appreciate the velcro being on the side of the bib. I used to pull hair and velcro hair into the bib when opperating the velcro on our old bibs.

The fabric is not laminate and will not crack. I see this bib lasting us a long, long time. Well worth the extra money.
