Due to recent concerns about the use of plastics in baby bottles, Lifefactory has created a 9 oz. glass baby bottle with a modern twist. The bottle is covered with a silicone sleeve, which helps to protect the bottle from breakage and makes it easier to hold on to. The sleeve is free of all plastics and is completely non-toxic. The silicone nipple is latex-free and non-toxic, while the plastic ring, plug and cap contain no polycarbonates and are food grade, FDA approved and recyclable. Available in an assortment of colorful silicone sleeves. Shown here in orange. Bisphenol A, phthalate, PVC and polycarbonate-free! Cleaning instructions: Both the bottle and the sleeve can be boiled or put in the dishwasher together. Created in facilities that meet ISO 9000 or 1400 labor practices and tested by the independent laboratories of Bureau Veritas.

decent enough bottle, ridiculous price,
i just bought this for a trip, i was afraid to bring my normal glass bottles. when i paid $17.99 plus $4 for shipping, i assumed it was for a 3 pack of bottles. especially since in the about the item section is says ‘bottles’, plural. it is not, i just got one singular bottle. i feel ripped off honestly. the actual bottle is just a plain old fashioned bottle, no venting system like my dr brown’s glass bottles (which are $15 for three much more complex bottles), the silicone sleeve is nifty, but that is the only thing that sets this bottle apart from a cheap evenflo glass bottle. the lack of any venting except through the cap left lots of bubbles in the milk. i hope that won’t make my daughter’s reflux too bad. she seemed to like drinking from it so i have no complaints about that. be warned too, that the silicone sleeve is the only place there are markings, so this cannot be used without it, and i don’t feel it is too accurate since the silicone can easily be slipped around and stretched to measure too little or too much. there are also minimal markings, only every ounce, or every 50 mL. not too precise. overall, i’m not happy with this purchase, i’m glad my daughter likes it, but i feel the bottle is NOT worth the high price. i will be sticking with my dr browns.

|Must have bottles,
I got one of these bottles for a baby shower and have used it almost every day since. My daughter has dropped it on numerous occasions and it hasn’t broken. I have been very happy with it. My only complaint may be that it was a litttle heavy for her when she first started holding her own bottle.
