Product Description

From the award-winning duo behind The Gruffalo comes The Highway Rat- a cheeky tale of mischief, courage and clever thinking!

Meet the Highway Rat- a rather cheeky (and slightly greedy) bandit who gallops along the highway, stealing food from everyone he meets- from a duck with some bread to a squirrel with nuts, and even a rabbit with a clover sandwich! But this rat's luck is about to change when he meets his match in a clever duck with a plan...

Written in Julia Donaldson's signature rhyming style and brought to life by Axel Scheffler's expressive illustrations, The Highway Rat is a fast-paced adventure that teaches little ones the importance of kindness.

Ideal for bedtime reading, this tale is perfect for fans of Julia Donaldson's beloved books and would make a great addition to a storytime routine.
